CREW URGES OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL TO INVESTIGATE CHRISTIAN EMBASSY VIDEO

11 Dec 2006 // Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW), on behalf of the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, requested that the Office of the Inspector General commence an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the creation of a videotape promoting the Christian Embassy. The video includes interviews with several members of the Army and the Air Force, appearing in uniform, praising the Christian Embassy. Service men and women shown in uniform at the Pentagon promoting a private, sectarian religious organization appeared to violate a number of Department of Defense Directives, Joint Ethics Regulations, Army Regulations and Air Force Instructions.
