CREW SENDS IRS FOIA TO DETERMINE POLICY OF INVESTIGATING 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS
27 Jul 2006 // Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to determine if the IRS has a policy whereby they target 501(c)(3) organizations for investigation based on the guidance or input of Members of Congress or the White House.
