Litigation Counsel
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) seeks an attorney with at least four years of civil litigation experience. CREW is a nonprofit organization committed to identifying, challenging and deterring unethical government conduct. Position responsibilities include assisting on all aspects of civil litigation from the administrative stage forward, identifying and analyzing emerging issues and assisting with projects, reports and other written products. Manager of Operations/Finance
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington seeks a resourceful manager of operations/finance, who can juggle many priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include operations/IT/office/procurement management, finance/accounting, HR administration and project management. Requirements: bachelor’s degree (in accounting or finance preferred), with 2 years of non-profit accounting experience; at least 2 years experience in relevant professional setting; proficiency with MSExcel and MSWord; strong project management, and written and verbal communication skills. Highly desirable: experience with budget and/or grant fiscal management, QuickBooks, MSPowerPoint and MSAccess. Legal Interns
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is seeking unpaid legal interns. Responsibilities include legal and related research, analyzing emerging issues, and assisting in the preparation of complaints, reports and other written products. Interested applicants must have completed at least one year of law school and must possess strong written and analytical skills. The legal intern position offers law students an opportunity to participate in a current hot-button issue of great public importance. Undergraduate Interns
Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is a nonprofit, legal watchdog group which targets government officials who sacrifice the common good to special interests. We help Americans use litigation to shine a light on those who betray the public trust.
CREW seeks undergraduate students to serve as unpaid interns. Undergraduate interns will assist with research and operations, including compiling complaints, performing research for reports and maintaining website content, and communications, including working with press, monitoring press coverage, and building press lists. The ideal candidate will be hard-working, enthusiastic, resourceful, detail-oriented, and interested in legal or ethics issues.
